HOW TO ENROLL
Summer-only Students

Enrolling in Summer Quarter at the University of Washington is easy. Simply follow the steps listed below.

Instructions described on this Web site are intended for summer-only students who are not currently seeking a degree at the University of Washington. Current UW students should register as they do for any other quarter.

Please note: Enrollment in UW Summer Quarter as a summer-only student does not constitute admission to the University of Washington. For information on how to apply for admission as a degree-seeking student, visit the UW Admission Web site.

Step 1: Complete the Summer-only Application Form

A $60 nonrefundable application fee must accompany your Summer-only Application Form. Students are automatically admitted upon submission of the Summer-only Application Form and the nonrefundable application fee.

Applications are processed as soon as possible, but may take up to two weeks to process. After June 1, all applications must be submitted in person.

If you have questions about your application, contact the Registration Office at 206-543-8580.

High school students must download and submit the PDF via mail or in person. Online applications will not be accepted.

Step 2: Enrollment Confirmation Acknowledgement arrives via mail
The UW Registration Office will mail you an Enrollment Confirmation Acknowledgement containing your UW ID number and personal access code (PAC), which you will need to register for your Summer Quarter class. You'll also receive the Registration Guidelines for Summer 2013.

Step 3: Register
Once you have your UW ID number and personal access code (PAC), you can register for your Summer Quarter class using MyUW, the UW online registration system. Registration for Summer Quarter 2013 opens April 15 and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
