Do you have basic UNIX/Linux skills and want to use them in a new way? This program is ideal for individuals with that knowledge who seek the technical skills to plan, support and administer UNIX/Linux systems. UNIX, including its open-source version Linux, is chosen as the operating system for businesses more than 60 percent of the time.
Emphasizing hands-on, real-world solutions for systems management, data exchange, security and performance, participants gain comprehensive skills to efficiently and securely administer networks of UNIX/Linux machines. It also serves as preparation for Linux Professional Institute (LPI) Certification. This program is especially useful for those looking to start a new career or advance within an existing career.
