Study information design, software user assistance, editing practices, layout and production, and software applications. Review the principles and practices of writing about scientific and technical topics for a variety of audiences - from subject experts to the general public. Explore grammar, style, and structure in technical communication.
What the Program Covers
- Editorial responsibilities, practices, and the editor's role as supervisor of publication groups
- Concepts and software used by technical communicators; completion of a portfolio project
- Editorial role in the preparation of text and visual materials for production

Who Should Apply
Level: Some Experience
- Individuals with a bachelor's degree from a four-year, accredited institution
- Individuals with at least two years of college and at least two years of work experience in the technical communication field
- Software literacy is a pre-requisite knowledge for admission into this program
