This nine week intensive program provides a basic study of project management processes. You will examine case studies and participate in team projects that cover risk management, communication skills, cost, scheduling and more.

The FPM curriculum, developed by an advisory board composed of UW faculty and project management professionals, serves as an introduction to the core disciplines of project management, an ideal foundation series for professionals who wish to enter the field.

If you are an international student studying on an F-1 student visa, you are required to attend an English class in which you will practice vocabulary development and oral and written communication skills.

Is This Program Right for You?

FPM is designed for domestic and international students who seek to jump-start their careers by learning practical skills needed to become effective project managers.
